Important Rental Information

Must be at least 18 years-old to rent - All minors under 14 must be accompanied by an adult - Parent/Adult Guardian must be present at time of drop-off.

Valid Credit or Debit Card Only. All rentals are subject to a 7% sales tax. Please bring a Valid ID.

Paddles & Life Jackets are included with all rentals, but you will be entering the water at your own risk and should be able to swim.

All deliveries will occur at our primary delivery location unless otherwise scheduled - Scroll for Details.

Equipment must be reserved at least 1 hour in advance of chosen time period.

Late returns will be subject to a late fee of $50.00 per hour. (Clock begins at the 15 minute late mark)

Available Rental Options

Our fleet of Kayaks and Paddleboards are beginner friendly, and designed for comfort and stability - perfect for lake waters!

We’ll be able to answer basic questions and provide basic assistance, but we don’t offer extensive paddling instruction. If you are a first-time paddler, it is highly advised that you view some tutorials on the basic operation of kayaks and/or paddleboards (there are endless tutorials on YouTube).

About Paddle Time Rentals

Our History

Paddle Time Rentals is family owned and locally operated in Whitingham, VT. With the Summer of 2024 being the Grand Opening Season, we want to test the waters (pun intended) with aspirations to expand our current fleet and delivery capabilities. We also have hopes of supplying additional water activity rental opportunities in the near future.

The family kayaking and paddleboarding adventures began during the Covid Summer of 2020, as it was a safe, entertaining, and relaxing way to spend time together away from home and what seemed to be constant screen-time between school and work. Paddling has been a much-needed source of relaxation, tranquility, peace, unplugging, and a way to simply enjoy the beauty of the nature around us. For us, there is nothing better than paddling peacefully around the lake on a beautiful summer day, or even during a quiet evening for a mesmerizing sunset!

Whether it be for exercise purposes, exploring the many shorelines and islands, swimming in secluded areas, photography opportunities, sunbathing on a paddleboard, or all of the above, Paddle Time Rentals will get you on the lake with as little work as possible!
